Chi Kung / Tai Chi Program - Mike Showstack. Our program combines Chi Kung and Tai Chi.   Chi Kung is the most fundamental tool for healing in Chinese Traditional Medicine. The art involves the whole body, not just a particular muscle group. The postures are designed to exercise internal organs and thus induce healing. Students of Chi Kung are able to relax in mentally and physically demanding situations and are less prone to injuries. Tai Chi, originally a martial art, is also a powerful weapon against disease and helps the body maintain health, and balance its internal energy. Its gentle and slow motion is extremely relaxing. People who have taken Tai Chi have said that it improves stamina, enhance self-control, maintain balance and even keep them youthful and happy!
